Skid Mark was built in 2013 to be a replacement for the then 14yr old Pants. It used real motors, rather than converted servos, Lithium-Polymer batteries, had new wheel with more grip and a faster weapon.

The name, whilst following the underpants theme, was actually inspired during testing when the new robot skidded and drifted around the kitchen floor.
