For anyone using a Spektrum DX5e transmitter and wanting better control, or a nice flipper trigger, or more channels, read on...
Whilst playing around with my DX5e I found that the output actually gives valid signals for SIX channels. So I started wondering...
A quick Google revealed some interesting things:
The Trainer switch actually controls the 6th channel! Could be useful for driving a flipper.
Also you can set 25% exponential on Aileron, Elevator and Rudder, in addition to the dual rates via the toggle switch. Exponential gives you better low-speed control and is usually a feature reserved for fancier transmitters such as the DX6i.
