Re: AWS47
Are we talking near enough to Yeovil for train travel to be practical?

Re: AWS47
For trains it'll likely be closer to crewkerne station. If people are arriving by train then I'll see if I can organise some lifts.
It's as set in stone as I think it'll ever be, but it might be worth waiting till either tomorrow or sunday evening as I'm seeing my family over the weekend so can hopefully discuss the plans with them (yet again) just to make sure.

I'm all for Rorycon 2016. An event with all different weight classes that isn't horrible for roboteers because they're not having to entertain a crowd? Count me the hell in.
What are your plans for a feather arena? I can't see any way of doing it cheap and being FRA-legal, since even their lowest levels of arenas require polycarb all the way around. Unless you just do it without the FRA's approval...which I don't feel like many people would have a problem with.

Re: AWS47
It would pretty much be a class 5 arena aka some haybales or similar in a square with maybe some plywood on the floor. Class 5 is for 'demonstration only', but seeing as it would be roboteers only I think we could have some 'gentle' fighting with pusher and lifter bots :L Could even run a featherweight assbot comp But yeah, would likely be next year or something... for the time being we can't get too distracted :L
