Looking forward to meeting everyone as well! I design and install computer networks for a living and have these two tool bags that follow me everywhere with work and fixing families computers and laptops etc. So I thought well rather than try and dissect what I think I'll need I'll just lob both bags in the boot with robot, spares and charging stuff and job's a guddun. It makes me laugh cause I now have a picasso full of stuff and don't even have a working robot haha.

Why did I put in the original post that there will be tea and coffee making facilities? I just copied it from the last AWS I ran, and I didn't have them there either. So confusing. It's removed now, anyway; if you were only coming for the free hot drinks I apologise.

See you all tomorrow :).

Just decided to pull out Ant Ratchet 3, its not going to be finished in time.
We have 1 Ant & 1 Flea, with some of Johns modified rc toys that he wants to enter so plenty to do anyway.
See you all there!

STATUS UPDATE:

> S. D. F. is now S. D. F. Beta, after the main thing I was concerned about (the robot not sitting level on the floor) turned out not to be an issue at all, as it ended up sitting flush to the ground first time with no problems. Unfortunately, literally everything else in the construction that could have gone wrong, did, to a greater or lesser extent (it kind of started with the belated realisation that in order to tap an M2 hole, you need to start with a hole *smaller* than 2mm, and then got steadily worse from there to the point where myself and Dave Weston - many, many thanks to him and Ceri for their help this evening! - resorted to swearing at the robot to get things to fit together or exist in at least the same postcode), so it's going to be a flat, flush to the ground robot with no hope at all. In doing everything wrong though, I have learned how to do everything right next time, so I have high hopes for S. D. F. when it can be rebuilt properly :)

> Head Over Heels is still Head Over Heels, but with a very very small scoop for scooping up very very small robots.

> Spall is.

I am looking forward to this very much, especially seeing everyone again, and the very best of luck to everyone :)

No free coffee! I might as well stay in bed! :P

I am running at dangerous new levels of under-organisation... Unlike all the people above boasting who has the most tools, I will be arriving with a charger, transmitter, 4 antweights and whatever junk is in my boot (mainly a telescope and a photo frame...). I don't expect to get past the group stages.

thanks to everyone for a great day, and congrats to the winners. i had a great time, sadly jaguar went 0-2 in the main comp, after just missing out on a win against ronny, however he will be back for more. i will probably see you all at ant freeze 2015.

Great event all, lots of fun.

Don't suppose any of you picked up a blue extension reel we left behind?
