Re: I'm giving up
Did some of the electronics today. 2p coin for scale, didn't have a banana handy. Might have to ditch those wheels for some foamy ones to get the weight for a wedge. That is assuming I can fit a wedge into 15g. Planning to pocket or slot the front bulkhead thing, possibly all the way though but at least 3mm deep. Tiny stuff is hard. I miss featherweights
Also got any suggestions for weeny little 2s lipos. Like a shorter version of the nanotech 160mah cells would be cool, or some fairly flat individual cells I could butcher into a pack. Got about 12g to play with there. Could probably drop to about 100mah or maybe even less if I can keep my act together charging wise.
cheers.

I think Alisdair uses 80mA cells in order to get Salt/Pepper in weight, FullRiver cells if I recall. I know Micron RC did do then, but you'll have to have a shop around.

Re: I'm giving up
Do you need any more of a wedge? Surely just a thin bit of hdpe over what that chassis is enough?

I think HDPE might be a bit soft in the thickness's needed, but polycarb is a thing.
Also cheers Dave, looking at those now

Re: I'm giving up
I have used these in the past and although not that flat at 12mm square section they fit in the height of the gearmotors.

You do need to change the connector though.

Cheers guys that's sorted the batteries then.

Hey peeps. Got Blueberry driving. Pretty happy that I managed to keep the wheels inside the body. Love me some circular robots, anyone for extreme air hockey?

Next bit I will have to do is get a top cover and maybe switch on there and then its electrically done. I think I'm going to bend the bar down for a pseudo FBS effect and to increase the chances of it pinging itself into space.

Please draw on the bar to make it look like a ruler; just saying.
