How does someone who is currently making antweights progress to fleaweights? Which specific components would they need to buy, and from where? ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

buy smaller stuff. a few fleas run on gearmotors, but that is more expensive. buy a couple of 5g towerpro servos off giant cod, a light rx, a 12g nimh battery(if you have lipos go for them) and some light wheels, look at 9-14g for a wepon servo.
good luck

With Catatonia I just used an antweight drive and electronics (Peter Waller option A speedo, 30:1 gearmotors, Spektrum Rx) and just compressed them into a very small chassis and bodyshell, which seemed to turn out alright. It might be easier weight-wise to use servos though (since Catatonia is right on the limit)

no mucking around with extra speed controls either.

Fleaweights are basically smaller antweights, so the same parts are required but smaller. There is a huge selection of tiny servos out there for weapons or drive which cost no more than ant/ standard sized ones. You can use antweight drive like joey but you will struggle for a good weaon then.
