did you know that the if you pee on a live rail you DONT get electrocuted (myth busters did it

it breaks up onthe way down so it has to be a complete stream for power to go up it (i am NOT going into any more detail than that)

Of course, if you are standing on the track at the time, there is a good chance that electrocution is the last of your problems

When the mythbusters tested it the salt and other electrolytes found in the urine are conductive and can carry a charge. But you just need to be really close to the rail for it to be a solid stream.

On a revisit episode they tested a low amp high but voltage electric cattle fence. Adam got a shock by peeing on the fence but had to be less than a foot away.
