I'd like to thank Josh for offering a place to sleep over the night, but in case something goes wrong, maybe someone else near Either Luton or Stanstead would be able to pick me up and let me stay for a night or so? Most thankful!

Been hiding for a while.

I can bring my arena if you want.

I will be travelling up Sat morning as it is only 2hrs away from Reading.

Not sure which ants will be there.

First off, thanks Oliver, that would be greatly appreciated.

Me and Hib have been discussing Oliver's arena with him, because although we both like it a lot, we also both feel that the long side walls are too low as they are currently. The small walls next to the pit are 1.5" high and the long ones are currently 1" high. We were going to ask if we could keep the small walls at the side of the pit the same, but raise the long walls to 2" high. If people would care to comment and let us know wether you think this is a good or bad idea, I would be grateful.

Yes, we agreed a while ago that 50mm was a good wall height.

I definately agree too. The Pin hurdled straight over Oliver's walls at AWS20!

If there are no objections I will raise the walls to 2" then.

I think it is good to make them higher as it is fairly easy to get an ant over a 1" wall. On the other hand the last thing I want is to make it impossible to lift an ant over a x" wall and make it so spinners that fly back are kept in by an arena wall.
