For families, it's hard to beat the local Travel Inn.

"Travel Inn Hull North" about 2 miles from the AWS venue. It has a Brewers Fayre Restaurant on site for breakfast & dinner. There is also an Asda close by (handy for lunch stuff for Saturday).

At under ?50 for a room it's pretty good value if you go as a family or can manage to share with someone.

Dave, can you suggest anything better? (A little local knowledge goes a long way...)

I pretty much know where that is, and no, I cant actually think of anywhere better than that. I could almost put signposts up from the Travel Inn to the venue, or even come and meet you all there before leading the way in a big convoy! It's pretty much perfect.

Josh, give them a call, they'll probably put an extra bed in for you.

Well, we've booked up for both the Friday and Saturday night - travel up Friday (it's half term for us) and return on Sunday. Probably find somewhere interesting to stop off en-route...

I've booked it as well. I phoned up and got a family room with three beds in (for me, my brother, and Nathan).

Good, you can all register your bots then. :D
Go to:
http://www.robotwars101.org/events/display.php?id=83 and follow the link to the main registration pages.
Just before the event, I'll post a list of competitors for you all.
By the way, is anyone dealing with the Bovik bots this time?
