Dave, it occurs to me that I will have to negotiate with the kids about bringing the battlebox. It only fits in the car with the rear seat part folded down. As long as they will be comfortable for 250-300 miles sharing 2/3 of a back seat then it will be OK.

Well, if it causes major problems Gary, then I'm sure we can find a back-up arena and not use mine. Its cost all of ?6 to make, so wouldnt be losing out that much. But, if your kids are willing, would be great.
Is there some other way of transporting it? Do you live near any of the others who could bring it up for example?
