I always pay my membership when i have a chance, i dont often go to the big events but when i do im never asked for a card or anything (Which is good seeing as i dont actually have it anymore- Some philistine stole my wallet :P). It does help with the sign up's though if you have it to hand, you can slip Kane a check at most events if you want to get it sorted out.
In other news i should be there; family permitting. I must admit i was sort of holding out for the Robo Challenge event so i could test the spinner, but seeing as im supposedly in Cornwall on those dates this sounds like a good breather. Harry are you still on for the Clusterbot? I gave the (as yet un-named) 2WD feather a test drive today and its performing at its mediocre peak.

See you guys there.

I regret to say I can't attend this year, because I have to work this weekend in order to get the weekend of the FW UK champs off. Sorry :(

Just to say we're not going to this now, we're all got colds and the thought of standing outside in the cold for six hours with a daughter who doesn't particularly like robots...

A little short handed but a great day anyway and with a few of ants from people with larger robots it worked out well.
Because they weren't chargeing to drive the battle rats we were able to let the kids (some bigger then others) drive my drive all day ants which proved popular.
Haz did some good demo's with his vertical spinner which impress the audiance and roboteers alike (need to watch that at the next AWS).
