Have you only just realised that.
Actually two (Flippant & Defiant) are for the non spinner contest and one spinner will be dropped, I was hopeing to decide on the on the day, depending how well they they stood up to the luggage handlers.

Dave and Scott I assume you have seen that the airline ticket system has changed and you now have to print out your own boarding passes for each flight or face a ?40 each way surcharge. Looks like we need to be at the airport by about 5:00 AM which means a 3:30 start for me.

I was planning on it pete, it meas about a 3AM start for me too, I'm driving from Coventry since I'm staying at Scotts place.

I've managed to get all 4 motors and wheels into Baby Hell, just need to wire them and make a lid, although it may still have the self righting issue I demonstrated at RRC.

Stewie has a new flipper, bit longer this time, but I overdid it and it lifts the robot way too far off the ground to come to a stop, had to do a bit of bending to make that less drastic.

FIN's the same as he ever was, really should get around to rebuilding it.

The fleas are as they were before, just a change of wheels for LD, haven't had chance to re-built the fleas, nor Heretic, but I'll give FIN one last run out in the spinner combat (probably going to regret it

)

Will everyone be able to get to the event okay? I've heard that Dutch airspace is being closed from 7PM local time due to the ash cloud from the Icelandic volcano

I could give three people a lift to Eindhoven (it would be a squeeze though) if you can get to me for 2:00 on Friday, but we're not coming back until 7pm on Sunday, and you'd need to sort out the hotel etc.

I have cancelled the hotel and carpark as after midnight you lose the money. If some how the flight is not cancelled I will try and rebook otherwise I give up. Thanks for the offer Simon but my whole family are down with bad colds and I think I am coming down with it so it wouldn't be fair on you and the others to be couped up in a car with me for hours on end.
