This would certainly be an interesting way to spend my birthday

I'll try to build an indestructible brick to fight the spinners but need to figure out how to attach a wire to a snapped motor connector first.

If you find out, let me know. I have about three lying around with snapped terminals!

If you dig out some of the black plastic from around the broken terminal you should be able to solder to it. Don't go too far as the brushes inside will become loose. Solder the wire so it is flat with the back of the motor you can glue it down taking any stress from the solder joint. Superglue is properly best but a hot glue gun could work.

I despise super glue because it only seems to stick things to me rather than each other.

I know that feeling :P I've managed to end up with a dollop on my hand before and a nasty burn mark as a result.

how do you get a burn mark from superglue.
my matee once had some super glue and tried to wax his hair off with it :o .
not a pretty sight.

I meant hot glue I got a burn from. I find loctite easy to work with but hot glue is a major pain.
