I can third that! Wordpress is pretty good for preset styling just don't use it if you want run scripts etc. That's why I went for my own site in the end as I can do what I like and it is really cheap :)

Ive found that the pages can be extended further than i thought. my website is now updated with pictures, videos, and build diaries/summaries. :D

In html you would put <img src="url of icon">

Simon, I thought Alasdair meant the Favicon, like here on RW101 we have a little picture of Pants. If that was what you meant, then you can find lots of information here.

As far as I can tell, you just need to put a 16x16, 32x32 or 64x64 favicon.ico file in the root directory of the site.

I agree with Scott, you'll need to use a free favicon editor, there are plenty of them. Either imported an existing image or make your own icon from scratch.

I have just spent 1/2 hour on building a favicon, and now the site tells me i have to pay to use it! that was a waste of time! :x
