Yeah
A used ... pink bathrobe
A rare ... mint snowglobe
A Smurf ... TV tray
I bought on eBay

My house ... is filled with this crap
Shows up in bubble wrap
Most every day
What I bought on eBay

Tell me why (I need another pet rock)
Tell me why (I got that Alf alarm clock)
Tell me why (I bid on Shatner's old toupee)
They had it on eBay

I'll buy ... your knick-knack
Just check ... my feedback
"A++!" they all say
They love me on eBay

Gonna buy (a slightly-damaged golf bag)
Gonna buy (some Beanie Babies, new with tag)
(From some guy) I've never met in Norway
Found him on eBay

I am the type who is liable to snipe you
With two seconds left to go, whoa
Got Paypal or Visa, what ever'll please ya
As long as I've got the dough

I'll buy ... your tchotchkes
Sell me ... your watch, please
I'll buy (I'll buy, I'll buy, I'll buy ...)
I'm highest bidder now

(Junk keeps arriving in the mail)
(From that worldwide garage sale) (Dukes Of Hazard ashtray)
(Hey! A Dukes Of Hazard ashtray)
Oh yeah ... (I bought it on eBay)

Wanna buy (a PacMan Fever lunchbox)
Wanna buy (a case of vintage tube socks)
Wanna buy (a Kleenex used by Dr. Dre, Dr. Dre)
(Found it on eBay)

Wanna buy (that Farrah Fawcet poster)
(Pez dispensers and a toaster)
(Don't know why ... the kind of stuff you'd throw away)
(I'll buy on eBay)

I think the lyrics to the ebay song has succesfully ground the discussion to a halt.

I tried educating Joey with a bit of Pink on the way to Reading station but I am not convinced he is a fan.

Give it time. The first time I heard "Animals" I wasn't sold on them either.

Time to get back on topic - Favourite music

I can't decide on one favourite album - depends on my mood.

But my favourite single of all time is the somewhat obscure "Down In The Park" by Tubeway Army (1979)

It never troubled the upper reaches of the charts, and I suspect not many people on here will ever have heard of it, except perhaps for Dave W as Nine Inch Nails have covered it.

Many other well-loved singles from a wide range of genres and times, but I think this one tops them all for me. A case of the right place, the right time.

Sorry about that :P

I have trouble deciding my favourite song as invariably once I've decided it changes and then changes again to make the original decision seem a bit silly within a month or so...as a guide though, I like Tears For Fears an awful lot and most if not all of Songs From The Big Chair are up there, as I suggested earlier, and along with "Save A Prayer" by Duran Duran, "Gold" by Spandau Ballet, "Un Autre Monde" by Telephone (and, oddly, "The Navy Song" by Billy Talent XD) are among my favourites at the moment.

There are too many peices I really like, but its probably easier to name a few guilty pleasures, such as:

Reel Big Fish - Monkey Man
Reckless Love - Beautiful Bomb (Glam Metal FTW :))
Black Mages - Maybe I'm a lion
Anything by The Darkness :P

My favourite song at the moment is 'Love, the hardest way' by HIM
