It's worth checking out the new batteries from Atomic, http://www.atomicworkshop.co.uk/Product ... ctType=BAT. I've ordered a couple, but I haven't tested them yet.

I bought the 130Mah ones. I don't use anything that needs a super high discharge rate, I just need enough juice to last 3 minutes with the minimum weight, and I'm hoping that 130Mah will do it. I've used the 145Mah Kokams for years and they used to give me about 15 minutes.
Mah is milliamp hours, or (barring a correction from someone who really knows) how much power a battery contains. The other important number is 7.4v, which is what you get with 2 Lipo connected in series. 3.7 for one, 7.4 for 2 and 11.1 for three. 3.7 is not enough to run anything, and 11.1 is for speed freaks, the motos would run too fast for me.
Anyway, it's a good point that not eberyone knows about amps and voltage as related to antweight batteries.

Simon is right.
A lower amount is ok for a robot with not too heavy duty motors on them. the 250 mah in Katjuscha can last me about 6 minutes if i dont overdo it. but then i get in that dangerous area where lipos tend to blow up, literally.
So as a rule in normally recharge every 3 minutes (actually, i recharge after every fight, wether it took 2 minutes or 2 seconds). But I have a brushless to feed, and thats more than 4 sanyos put together.
