currently when I practice driving i run my Nicads and Nimhs until theyre bone dry (not enough power to move almost at all) would this be a problem if I switched to lipos. I couldnt see this as a problem when its a timed 3 min match but i loose track of when attacking some styrofoam or sumthing. If i switch would it be dangerous to deplete a lipo to that extent?

Yes, Lipos don't like that at all.

So what about charging them?
They're not as hardy as Nicads in that department are they (I'm used to just leaving them on charge overnight). But you can get chargers that tell you when they're done?

The Apache 2500 can charge up to 14V 2500mAh, thats why I'm happy with just Apache Smart 2030, which is alot cheaper, about ?24.

I said "for instance", not "go buy a 2500 now".

Well I charged my atomic 130 mAh batteries at 100mA, and they both swelled up, sone while it was being charged, and the other one afterwards.

Any ideas?

What do you mean swelled up?

I have a 400mAh and I will try to charge it at 300 because theres no 400 or any in between.
