I don't think the rules will stop you. Except for the 150g rule, of course... How much does a spark plug weigh?

Craig once mentioned glow plugs as a form of power. It could be worth checking out. I prefer electric power

Simon

P.S. Overlander have stopped selling 2/3 AAA battery packs.

Its very possible to get little glow powered motors - whether you could control it is another matter.

I too found out that Overlander have stopped selling the 2/3AAA - I'm trying to get some for Dave but I'm really struggling to find an alternative supplier or even an alternative battery...anyone got any ideas?

I've just bought some from http://www.strikalite.co.uk/prodcat_typ ... er_Pack/5/. They've just arrived, so I haven't tried them yet.

They will need to have futaba leads soldered on, but they're nearly half the price of Overlander, at ?5.50 and they're 320mAh not 300.
