First welcome to the UK main antweight website.
If you are talking UK ants at 150 grams the most common armour materials are polycarb, titanium, aluminium, carbon fibre or fibre glass. Under UK rules metal armour is limited to 1 mm thick. If you are talking US ants you probably need to look on one of the US sites.

I'd say go for polycarbonate, it's what I always come back to. Aluminium is quite good, but needs to be thick to withstand spinners.
I'm yet to try carbon or Ti, but have some on order, and have high expectations for them. Balsa really wouldn't be advised by me. If your up against a spinner, no matter how thick it it, it's gonna get mashed to bits.
