Took Kruger to it's debut event.

1 Win, 1 Loss. Was very happy with the power of the weapon and the performance of the 1 tooth-counter-balanced bar.
However, I have a list of things to rebuild and improve now.

Well some of you may have noticed that I have been a bit quiet lately. I haven't done anything to the ants over the last few months and looking at them now it is clear that they are all in need of a fair bit of work so now that I am back home for a few weeks I'm going to set about rebuilding them.

First up for rebuild is Mini mAlice- it has been working reasonably well and has been pretty much unchanged since it was originally built in April but the chassis has started to fall apart. The idea is to rebuild it almost exactly the same as before but improve the way it is held together to stop it falling apart.

And now time for the updated versions of 2 of my old ants

Tesla 2- A complete new version of my axe robot which never saw competition- this time with 2 motors to power the axe instead of just one.

Here are the planned stats for it:

Weight- around 150g
Length-12cm
Width- 9cm
Height- 5cm
Drive- 2x 50:1 HP motors
Speedo- Peters Planet 5/ ESC module
Battery- 180mAh 2 cell LiPo
Weapon: Axe powered by 2 50:1 HP motors
Weapon Controller: Peters Axe controller
Armour- Mix of 1 and 2mm HDPE

The last one to be rebuilt will be Inertia 2. The old one worked fairly well but had a few issues since it was too big and heavy, the new one will be smaller and lighter as well as having a more powerful disc.

Here's the stats

Weight- around 150g
Length-7.5cm
Width- 10cm
Height- 7cm
Drive- 2x 30:1 motors
Speedo- Peters Planet Option A Controller
Rx: Spektrum AR6110e
Battery- 250mAh 2 cell LiPo
Weapon: Vertical, 1.6mm thick, 60mm diameter titanium disk powered by a 22mm brushless motor
Weapon Controller: 8Amp Brushless speedo
Armour- Mix of 1 and 2mm HDPE with 5mm Bulkheads

CADs are all done got all the bits and work should start over the next couple of days. pics to follow soon.

How will you get two motors powering one axe? Sounds nasty :)

probably a very thick peice of plastic and a motor on either side, and its just wired so they turn the same way when fired
