The front of this is a razor plane blade so be careful if you pick it up.

good to see you reverting back to good old fashioned servo flippers :) I want to have my HPXF servo back but it keeps stripping gears under the stress, so I had to use a metal one

I'll be posting pics and stats of my new one (Good and Evil) soon.

Gear motors in a flea = awesome :)

I would love to see a of that thing!

How did you use the servo board for a speedo? Did you use 2?

and how did you find a speedo that small for that brushless?

hmmm in general.... how did you find electronics that small?

Here is my new ant which is almost finished, just a bit more armour to fit before its ready

Name: Ignite
Weight: Currently 112g with 2 more armour panels to fit
Length:11cm
Width: 9.5cm
Height: 3.5cm
Weapon: Flipper powered by HPXF servo
Armour: 0.5mm Aluminium & 1mm HDPE
Drive: 2x 30:1 motors
Speedo: Pete's Option A controller
Rx: BR6000

I have had it driving & flipping against Ant Awe (which now belongs to my brother) and it puts up a good fight.

I'll try to get some pics and Videos online when it is all finished.

I wasn't very happy with the first version of Ignite, I rushed the build a bit so that I could take it to RIAT to play with but after a couple of friendly fights it had a few issues.

So here is the newer one:

Name: Ignite 2
Weight: should be 145g
Length:9cm
Width: 10cm
Height: 4.5cm
Weapon: 100psi Pneumatic flipper with 2 rams & high flow valve
Armour: Welded 1 & 2mm thick HDPE
Drive: 2x 30:1 motors
Speedo: Pete's Option A controller
Rx: Ar500

I have tried out the flipper system and it seems promising with a large number of flips, it won't be quite at the same level as Anticide yet though (still some more work to do)

I will try to get some pics taken over the weekend but if it looks anything like the CADs then I will be very happy.
