The Front of Red Bull is made of (I don?t know in English, i tried to translate with Google^^) tin or sheet just 0,75 mm, but it is very strong in my opinion.
I bought the Gearmotors from this polnish site and i have to say they do their job very well. https://www.shop.kkpmo.com/index.php/XT ... 843171efa3
Joey, thank you for that suggestion, i hope that i understand what you mean , but at the Moment the lifting arm works pretty good, i just have the problem that the arm bends down a bit, when it lifts an object that weights more than 100 gram, but i can strengthen it with a strong, but thin metal.

Welcome Victor I am sure there will be another AWS in the Netherlands so we might get to meet you there. It is nice to see some good engineering going into your robots.
I am working on a redesign of my spinner Variant here are a couple of shots of the bits so far. I still have to build the controller and make a new blade.

Is that weapon motor the Turnigy 2204-14? If so, I'm using the same one in my spinner, Kruger. Just wondering what your comments are on the motor in combatpeterwaller wrote: I am working on a redesign of my spinner Variant here are a couple of shots of the bits so far. No it is a 2812-14 from Robot Birds site they don't quote the maker:

I have not yet tried it in combat, it is what I put in my full body spinner Anticyclone where it seem to have good power but the robot has proved too unstable so far to run in a competition.

That's the Turnigy motor, they have even copied the description nearly word for word from HobbyKing (or vice-versa)peterwaller wrote:No it is a 2812-14 from Robot Birds site they don't quote the maker:
