Moderators: BeligerAnt, petec, administrator
All of our ants have had a fair bit of work done over the last few weeks so here are the updated versions
Tesla now has 2 interchangeable weapons (axe and flipper)
Ant Awe 6 has had a bit of a rearrange inside and a new flipper to hopefully make it a bit better.
Inertia now has a much better set of armour (a completely welded 1mm HDPE Shell)
Finally Ant Awe 5 has been retired for good with a new robot taking its place- Quake so here are the new stats
Name: Quake
Weight: 138g
Length: 11cm
Width: 9.5cm
Height: 5cm
Drive: 2x 30:1 motors
Speedo: Barrello Ant 150
Battery: 2 cell 180mAh LiPo
Weapon: HPXF powered flipper

Photos and hopefully a video of Quake in action against the improved Tesla to follow later this evening.

After some minor setbacks with uMBX (Motor failure, lost 250G accelerometer) I decided to hack up a quick and dirty antweight to drive around while I wait for bits to finish uMBX.
Name: Little Ego
Weight: 145g
Length: 85mm
Width: 100mm
Height: 80mm
Drive: 2x Speed Hacked Futaba S3003 servos with lego wheels
Battery: 7.4v 350mAh LiPo
Weapon: 2mm aluminium scoop
Armour: 2mm aluminium, air and tape.
Test drive video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVDSnAGrN1o (prior to finishing the robot)

Sounds (and looks in lil' ego's case) great guys! Everyone seems to pumping out robots at a tremendous speed compared to me!
I have big plans for my new robot though, ElephANT (just so no-one steals the name in the robot rush!)
Also will, i would like to know that if you know the address that you should send the spinners to (i might of sent an email, i forget).

Well it was meant to be armoured in 4mm polycarb but Jack Evans has my sheet. Besides, as you see it there its 137g, and I'm not sure if, when I armour it in 4mm, it'll be in weight if I swapped the 9V for a Lipo (I was trying to make it so if the battery was replaced it would be legal. It fits the cube already).
