Bonding GRP

Post by Danieljr1 »

Evening

I was wondering what's the best stuff to bond GRP? I've seen some rubberised superglue which looks good but was hoping other people might have some suggestions.

Cheers

What are you bonding to it? And do you mean the preformed grp sheets or the stuff that you mould into shape yourself?

I've found that ordinary superglue is really effective at sticking together the peformed sheets, even glueing be edge of one piece to the face of another (so they are perpendicular to each other) I have found the resulting joint to be incredibly strong and almost impossible to break by hand.

It is just preformed sheets so I'll use normal super glue. Thanks for the response.
