Expanding Robots

Hi

I just need to clarify the rules for an expanding robot. It needs to be in its shrunken state when it is in the cube but does it expand as soon as it enters the arena or after the 3 2 1 activate?

My understanding was that it expands once the '3,2,1 activate' has been said. In the same way a spinner must wait to spin up its blade.

Officially s soon as the 3,2,1 has finished.

Yes, this has recently been discussed by the committee and the rule is now officially it must expand out upon "activate".
