I have decided to start work on my ants early so that I have some which might actually work for the AWS.

First up is a currently unnamed tracked one. Currently weighs in at 70g so will have some 1mm titanium all round to make it spinner proof.

Next up is Inertia 9

Decided to go 4wd as on the new featherweight which will hopefully improve the drive as well as doubling up the single tooth disc to give a bit more energy in the spinner.

Dude, sweet idea!

Looks a bit vulnerable though. I can see a chassis exposing if a horizontal clocks you one.
Tracked thing is cool too :)

A new tracked ant I've been working on. May end up as my sole entry into the AWS

Inversion is getting there now- got the top panel printed, just need to get the new ESC wired in and some fresh acetate attached and it is good to go :)

Time to get to work sorting things out for the next AWS.

I've got a few ants which I haven't fully finished yet so its time to put them into action.

The first job is to finish off Inertia 9 which currently looks like this.

Its a 4WD setup with a more powerful disc and one of Rory's NanoTwo ESCs.

Then Inversion which is still the same as above

Its having a few issues with its tracks so I might change it to 4WD to keep things simple. When run on 3s it should have plenty of push.

Finally there will be some flipper as well. Possibly mANTa again with a new printed shell or something a little different. The other option will be to print one of my kits to use which now look like this

Time for some pre AWS work so that it wont be a last minute rush as always.

Inertia 9 has been proving difficult, the 4 wheel drive setup was not working as well as I would have liked and needs a bit of a rethink but for now it has been replaced with Inertia 10. I have also rebuilt mANTa with a new printed shell as the old HDPE one got shredded last time out.

Inertia 10 is printing as I type this and should be finished soon.
