servos

hi im new to 101
how do you work out what value resistor to put instead of the potentiometer
does anyone know the value for these http://www.giantcod.co.uk/sg5010-towerp ... p-205.html

2.2k normaly
with those servos there is a litttle plastic insert that moves the pot, you can just take that out, no glue or ressistors needed.
those look far to big for an antweight mate

Yeah, I know what you mean, Marco used to use those servos without the casing, using other means to hold the gears on. I tried it once with a set of ants and it was a disaster with my heavy handed engineering. Haha.

right got 2.2k resistors now which legs do I join
