Just some new servoes....

Post by Critters »

Well, These may be too big for an antweight but Im not sure

Look at these torque ratings!

"Hitec has some new servos that have impressive numbers. The HS-7950TG servo is digital, titanium geared servo that boosts an impressive 403 oz.-in of torque! The HS-5485HB is a digital standard servo that sports 89 oz.-in of torque and a low price point. The servo on the right is the new HS-7940TG servo that puts out 183 oz.-in of torque at 6 volts and it does it at a blistering fast speed of .07 seconds." (R.C car action)

Pics: Uh oh technical issue, but here is the link to the page.....It may take a while to load

Great! I cant find any where which just says the dam weight of the thing.

Impresive. The torque and speed are both very impressive. But ti gears. Hardend steel gear pins Supported by Axial Brass Bushings. So new that it has not even been released yet.

That thing is not going to be even close to cheap. I am going to guess more then 100 quid.

well, these servoes are for RC cars, so they may be a little big. With 183 oz. inch at 0.07 sec.....that's crazy! It may be a $80 servo though
