yeah i realise that now, but i have to use an old laptop i aquired to do it and that takes the best part of 2 hours to turn on :-?

Also, much easier to do things as an assembly in pro/d.

In fact, on that robot, haveing the teeth facing down, isn't a bad idea, as it should tend to crush robots between the teeth and the wedge part, so more of the kinetic enegery will go in to distruction, rather than flipping the robots over, but I think the teath would have to be bigger for this to work.... And it would quiet hard, to hit the oponeths robot in the right place, so it doesn't just flip your one over (if this type of design was ever built) Lol

It'd be too easy to get a robot like that to flip itself over, really...it'd be better with a sawblade or grinder, as those benefit more from having more contact with the opponent, but then you cause less damage than you would with a conventional vertical disc most of the time.

IMHO most spinner wins are by "kicking" the opponent out of the arena, rather than through causing fatal damage, and so the focus has to be on providing that "kick" while staying on the arena yourself.
