Re: Pop!

I could potentially although they are quite expensive. These were made out of material I had left over from a client's project.

Re: Cubes

Cheers Dave,

I have confirmation from Dave, Peter and Jim so far.

I will make enough for the people who have asked for one, but do confirm even if you have posted here previously.

Re: Pop!

I got the 2.5mm ID hose. It's very flexible but too loose on my barbed connectors. I have designed a piece to remove connectors and hoses in the areas that need a high flow. However I don't have time to make that until after the AWS. In other news it turns out it's really tricky to mold tyres... att...

Re: Cubes

I will be making these for the AWS. If anybody who wants one can send me: £10 for a 4" or 3" cube £15 for both sizes to my Paypal email @ joshvalman.co.uk and leave a note to tell me what size. I can post them to anybody not attending the AWS for I think probably £2 Deadline is Sunday the ...

Re: Pop!

That there is 1.6mm ID tubing with a thick sidewall. I have some thin wall 2mm tubing that I got from GiantCOD a while back to go in the real thing.
I just bought a length of that 2.5mm ID to try as well so I will see how that goes.

Re: Pop!

I hope so, depends on how much time I get between then and now, I ordered the rest of the printed parts today.
The tubing is less than 2mm id, far from optimum but it was the simplest solution for now. I'm working on a more flow friendly link between the buffer and ram for a later date.

Re: Pop!

I've blown another boost circuit... I've been using the Pololu variable boost board. Does anybody know of anything similar possibly with a higher current capability. I'm boosting a 2cell lipo to 12v for ~ 200ma in 0.5s bursts

Re: Pop!

I spent some time on the pneumatic system this afternoon. It works! and it is incredibly powerful. Hard to capture with a phone camera and nothing connected to the piston however. There is a leak in the seal of the buffer tank which is an easy fix. now to shorten everything and stick it back in the ...

Re: Peter Wallers Robot Ramblings

What if the two bars were a disk with the teeth bolted on, you could then support the disk with bearings at the outer edges to stop it tilting and hitting the floor?

Re: Low-Cost Wheels for Gearmotors

No, those are not intended as a cheap fix. however they are a worthy replacement for the Robotmarketplace.com bling wheel.

I also have these push fit hubs that could be an easy fix in some cases. there is a set up cost for shapeways so the more you get in one model the cheaper they are per hub.
