Re: A Hotel, constructed of Limas, for Ants: A Build Diary

I like the robot ideas and the themed names. Couple bits from your post I can answer - yeah the dsm2 thing on the Devo 7e is easy. There is a step by step guide around, iirc it was on Nuts and Bolts website for people buying the older escs that were dsm2. And for hosting images I just use https://im...

Re: Peter Wallers Robot Ramblings

The reversible wedge mini bot with the offset wheels is the coolest thing I've seen all week. Adorable!

Re: Team Dudge build diaries.

Hey folks! Am still alive :) Had a few months of life doing it's thing and keeping me away from the fun stuff but seeing as I can finally get to another event with Ant Freeze at the start of Feb, thought I oughta get the bots out and see what I can enter. Not attempting anything totally new because ...

Re: GeorgeR's robots

Looking good as always. I'd missed your post about Axiom getting a new front end. Looks cool AF.

Sad I can't come to see them tomorrow. I still want to fight against Valkyrie one day. Maybe ant freeze 6 if you are planning on going.

Re: AWS56 - 13th October, Bristol

Best of luck to everyone going to this tomorrow! Sadly I got too much on this month for travelling that far this time. And my best bot is still not rebuilt from the last AWS haha.

Hope you all have a great day though and I'll hopefully see some of you at Ant Freeze 6.

Is someone filming at this?

Re: Die Gracefully Robotics Stuff and Things

That could be cool. Or perhaps if you don't usually want to show them pre event, then if they are recycled maybe a tear down type thing? A reverse build diary lol.

Basically I'm just a nosey git who wants to see inside all your guy's bots.

Re: Die Gracefully Robotics Stuff and Things

I look forward to this thread! Despite what you say about them being bashed together I saw plenty of them doing ok for themselves! Including putting Third Law out of his misery. Gave me time to fix him properly for the rumbles at least. As someone that still takes weeks to build one, I'm a little bi...

Re: GeorgeR's robots

Congrats on Valkyrie's really good showing. Cemented it's place as my favourite 150g robot on our scene. The incredible noise it makes combined with how nippy it is with the gyro dancing really makes it very memorable. Next time a podium finish? I think he's good enough.

Re: Team Dudge build diaries.

Well in a weird way I oughta be glad it was the battery as it's about the only part I had spares of lol. There was an ohh sugar moment though when he hit me and the Lipo just flopped out from where he'd opened the top up! Not supposed to happen! Funny really because right before that happened I hear...
