In answer to the above: At WS15 a few weeks ago I did rather well with SD200's. Odyssey uses straight SD200's as drive and to power the lifter and it got 2nd place. Hyper Puppy with speed modded SD200's and got 4th place. Look at Scott's page for details: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sandra.arthurs/...

Anteaters min and i'm happy for anyone to build a copy on 2 conditions:

1) The name is a lot different to distingiush between them.
2) It's not as good as the original, that's a joke

For 20g you can get a lifter/flipper or axe.

As for names, anything that takes my fancy or describes the ant well.

Marco, you need an ant clusterbot called Dirty Pair  I never got into the Berserk Manga

Have a look at SH Muffet, http://www.muffett.co.uk I can't see them on the site but the catalogue has plastic timing belts and pulleys. I'd be tempted to look at the Sozbots site as they have plastic chains and cogs and the postage isn't too bad (and you can get carbon fibre/titanium/polycarb at the...

The development is here:

The downside is the robot uses a wobble in it's hips to walk rather than using knees. The arm movement makes up for it however.
