Re: T_Y's Build Log
Quick update, HYTTIOAOA is now complete, aside from the aluminium wedge. For that, I'm waiting for the aluminium servo horn to arrive (should be soon), as the plastic one currently attached is slightly shorter. In the meantime, I've been procrastinating about the mechanum wheel bot. While browsing ...

Re: Eddie J - DisinfectANT , Cilit BANG
If that thing goes against a horizontal spinner, that thing will be mangled. Looks like a beautiful antweight! Amazing, how it isn't over weight Probably! But with the alu front plate on, it will take a few hits. First hit, one of the bots is going to be out the arena anyway :P Just would be ...

Re: T_Y's Build Log
Yea to fit 3mm shafts and 23mm diameter, will lock to axel - i would have liked smaller but each roller has to have a M1 axle, and making any smaller rollers and they will have next to 0 grip. Have it roughed out at the moment, I will finish it off by blending all the elements together, making the s...

Re: T_Y's Build Log
Do you want some mechanum wheels? I designed some antweight ones for another over complex project, but haven't got around to building anything yet.
Can cast you an extra set if you dont mind covering postage cost?

Thanks! It's more of thing of beauty, than it is competitive. But I just hope it will work and not implode itself like the Deep 6 test footage!
Next time... I will make something competitive for sure!
Hope to be bringing it to a few end of this year or start of next

Re: Eddie J - DisinfectANT , Cilit BANG
Ok so i have to finally push for this bot to get finished now. Partly because I have a couple of new ideas of other bots i want to make too to get a squad ready for some events. :D I had a 3d printed spacer which would hold the bots frame together, didnt like this as it was at the front at might sha...

Re: GeorgeR's robots
Awesome idea with the toner transfer. Bot tattoos! I think you should produce tally markings and add a new tally for each bot you KO
Good luck with the upgrades

Re: "Bend and sketch..."
Yea it is pretty good. It's been there about a year or so. But they just moved it to a new place on the interface in the last week. Cut a flat pattern with it a few days back. Just needs bending now. https://www.instagram.com/p/B2U8ppYHloz/ Last bot had the large front plate done in sheet metal too ...

Re: Eddie J - DisinfectANT , Cilit BANG
Been a crazy summer with far too little free time :/ But at last another entry in the build diary: I am finding some time to get back in the workshop and make a push to finish this second ant, before the end of the year! Milling 1mm aluminium is tricky as hell due to how "sticky" it is whe...
