the motor can draws about 20amps so it's a 20 amp ESC. Didn't know how long the battery would last at such a high draw, so stuck a big battery in it to be sure.

The parts for Sharknado finally arrived from Hong Kong. Got 47 grams for the chassis and armour.

Had a cracking time at my first AWS. Can't wait until the next one.

Just about fits in with the flipper up.

Just hope my later bots look half as nice as Void 9.0.

Quickly bodged togeather a flipper thing. At least it's finished for Saturday.

Just checked the sign up sheet and my name doesn't appear next to my bot Flippertygibbit. Sorry if I filled out the form wrong.

The next few should be a lot fancier looking. Basically threw this togeather in a day so I'd have something for AWS.

Top printed off, just need to design a scoop/flipper thing.

I'll have the lighter ones. The ducted fan bot they're for will have enclosed wheels so they won't have to be as strong.

Usually use it for prop replicas that don't need to have much structual strength so set it to about 25%. Printing the next chassis at 100% though, should be tough enough this time.
