Re: New antweight fighter

Wired it up to test and it sucks (In a good way)! Tested it at full throttle with a 180mah lipo and it ran out after 30 seconds. Will definitely have to compete with the 460mah lipo.

Re: TinyTwo Speed Controllers

If I'm plugging an ESC for my EDF into the TinyTwo, do I need to cut the red power line that'd normally power a servo or do I leave that intact?

Re: New antweight fighter

Tweaked the chassis to save some weight. Takes the weight down from 17g to 13g, not much but every little helps.

Re: New antweight fighter

I'll see if I can get Sharknado bodged together by Friday. I'm sure I can find some small screws somewhere.

Re: New antweight fighter

Trying to get it done in time but I'm not sure some of the parts for the shell will arrive before the weekend. Got some titanium M2 bolts shipped from Hong Kong :(

Re: New antweight fighter

After watching the premier of the new series of BattleBots I thought I should have another crack at my EDF Antweight. Mocked up the chassis and everything fits nicely with space to spare.

Re: New antweight fighter

Planning to replace my Ultimaker 2 nozzle soon enough anyway so I'm not too bothered. It's bad for brass nozzles like mine, but not too bad with steel ones.

Re: New antweight fighter

Might be getting some carbon fiber 3D printing filament to test, should make for an interesting chassis.
