Very nice. If you can put it together it'll beat my new crusher by 2kg weight equivalent force!Henwilled Antweight team wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 11:40 am Im in the process of creating a crusher and it is almost finished, using a 25kg servo (soon to be 35kg), I calculated the actual force it would produce at 25kg and it was around 7kg to the tip.

Crusher, why not?
I've invested in the parts for another robot. Without thinking about the practical aspect, I decided to make it a crusher. Later I thought "Why aren't there more crushers in antweight combat?". Firstly, I would like to appeal to people to please name as many crusher antweights as they can,...

Re: Thinking about a one off competition.
the balance connector? has 3 wires going to it if its a 2s? usually the best way to replace any connector is to crimp them... otherwise have pre crimped ones and solder them in place of the original wires at the lipo... this obviously has many more risks, and unless you feel comfortable doing this,...

In my haste I just cut the connector off with scissors, now I want to do a better job with one of the others. Also, what kind of acetate is p...

Re: Thinking about a one off competition.
i found that the first few builds seemed daunting... but you pick up tips and tricks which help as you build more... nowdays, with all parts to hand, i can scratch build a robot that could win a fight in just a couple of hours. although typically i would say each of my bots take a day or 2 from par...

And now the conclusion... Here's the full test, with plough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pG_1SqjVqDI&feature=youtu.be&ab_channel=Combatechist It taken unusually high levels energy and patience on my part. I can't believe anyone would have the patience to build a Beetleweight robot. Now I...

Re: TeamScrewUps poopoo bots
if those are 32mm pololu wheels then i think 13cm is too wide to fit diagonally, however it looks like you might get away with it fitting between opposite corners... with 32mm wheels you can be about 110mm wide and fit the cube diagonally, however with the same setup you can be about 145mm wide and...
