Scariest I've seen is Peter Waller reaching in the arena to get Mutant out while he didn't realize his blade was still spinning.

As for myself, nothing really ever frightens me in Antweights. If I lose, I lose.

The main problem will be finding a ESC that handles the 15V that you want. Most don't go beyond 12V.

We use these motors as drive motors for our Mecha Knights kids drive robots. They are pretty weak in power but they last for hours on a 3000mAh battery. With the 3000:1 gear reduction you'd need 2.5 to 3 seconds for travel of a 90 degree angle. They are not the worst motors and gears in the world, b...

What is a good feather weight size? You see I don't want to turn up with a huge or miniscule robot at a competition and feeling like an idiot. :) I've seen good feathers as small as 20 x 15 x 5cm. And as large as 40 x 30 x 20cm. There is no "good size", it all depends on the build and it'...

But you'd need someone in the US or Canada to buy it for you, unless it is more than 200 USD worth.

You could check with some US based roboteers if one of them is willing to buy a sheet for you.
