according to my research, the mg90 is better than the s version... the s has 1.8kg on 5v and 2.2kg on 6v where as the 90 has 2.2kg at 5v and 2.5kg at 6v... the s however is barely faster than the 90 by about .01... but, theres a lot of contradictory information... this seems to be the most common in...

my experience with mg90's is that yes, they are light cheap and reliable... i have over volted a few with mixed results... nothing fried but a few get very jittery other work fine... the importance of genuine ones is overall build quality and some fakes have a plastic gear from the motor to the firs...

i am... i have found a good ratio for my resin to get it decently hard.... however the shell i have made is a bit weighty so im going to use the wedge and use polycarb for the sides and back... hoping to keep my front aimed at any spinners and let the carbon aramid take the hits... i have the front ...

yeah 1mm polycarb all round... it actually held up better than i expected too... considering how much i was beaten up and smashed about from the spinner (have you seen the video?) i was expecting more damage... i mean there was plenty enough damage but it stayed in 1ish piece... i was expecting to n...

its doubtful that shortening the wires would cause issues unless you did a terrible job of it... i would troubleshoot each component to narrow down the problem... receiver, esc, then motors... if you have any spares of anything, try switching things around and see where that leads you... if not, may...

i will pass on the info i was given when i asked the same question. the Dys BE1806 is a popular choice. i purchased 2 for upcoming builds along with 2 afro 20a esc's and they seem to work well together... banggood seems to be the best place to get the Dys and hobbyking is where i purchased the 2 afr...

looks good. i cant wait to fight this at our next meet... i really like this concept. is the flipper slower now with the springs as opposed to the bands? i would figure its slower but a bit more power... i learned a lot about kinetic energy regarding bands and springs from my years of building sling...
