The claw test was quite disappointing. Are Duracell batteries not capable for putting out enough power?

What kind of improvement can I expect to see when I hook it up to the BEC of my receiver powered by a 7.4V 25C lipo?

Thank you. I'm sad to say I may have to remove some of the plates if it comes in over 150g :(

Re: Crusher, why not?

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. Unfortunately I've already committed to nylon hubs. I think I'm going to try cutting up some plastic tubing first.

I have mounted the claw and more armour plates. Now, I'm looking to install the drive.

Could anyone please recommend a way of getting or making small tires to fit on a custom hub?

Very nice. If you can put it together it'll beat my new crusher by 2kg weight equivalent force!

That's the most effective crusher I've seen so far!

Crusher, why not?

I've invested in the parts for another robot. Without thinking about the practical aspect, I decided to make it a crusher. Later I thought "Why aren't there more crushers in antweight combat?". Firstly, I would like to appeal to people to please name as many crusher antweights as they can,...

Re: Thinking about a one off competition.

the balance connector? has 3 wires going to it if its a 2s? usually the best way to replace any connector is to crimp them... otherwise have pre crimped ones and solder them in place of the original wires at the lipo... this obviously has many more risks, and unless you feel comfortable doing this,...
