I trump your google chrome settings with the Internet browser I wrote in about 5 minutes (it's essentially internet explorer but less rubbish)

Ah, now I get it. Try hooking up the button across the top terminal on the switch and either of the other two terminals.

Assuming that when the switch is up the throttle is cut you put the button anywhere along either of the two wires currently coming from the switch

Wire the button in series with the switch so that the switch has to be on and the button has to be pressed.

A resistor in parallel with each potentiometer section will provide a non linear response although you may want to put a resistor in series with the middle lead to bring the total resistance of the potentiometer back up to what it should. Lot's of burns and cuts from things but the worst would have to be the wire wheel yesterday that means that my left index finger is covered in more cuts than skin.

Worm gears with high lead angles can be back driven but they will probably be very expensive/ a custom job.

For something that will probably be cheaper, possibly even off the shelf, 45 degree helical gears can be meshed like that.

It shouldn't.

If you attach your battery by the screw terminals on the sabertooth then you simply cut the red wire on the servo lead, strip the end and screw that into the positive battery terminal.
