And just in some not so excellent news. I'm afraid as one drum enters another one leaves as I have to withdrawal Permanant forever. A mixture of a brushless esc dying (cost me £15 and lasted 1 hour :evil: ) and a inaccessible diode broken from the drive esc. Looks like the curse of the ...forevers d...

Nope, both the motor and the controller are stone cold and there is no short circuiting.
