Re: Rx31-d compared to Rx43d
Thank you Peter, you are very knowledgeable across this forum :D I will use the board i have, the seller says i can keep it instead if it is suitable. One other question, i can use these Rx with a 2S lipo? i have a few 350Mah 20c lipo zippy ones, and some single cell 1S ones, but hoping to use the 3...

Hi all. I have made a purchase of an Rx31-d receiver for my ant, however i have been posted the slightly more expensive Rx43-d :-? Rx31 - http://www.deltang.co.uk/rx31d.htm Rx43-d - http://www.deltang.co.uk/rx43d.htm It looks like the same except the 43 is designed to have the actuator outputs, but ...

Re: BR3A speed controller from Hobbyking
Ok, well i will pass on them, however i am now looking at the Rx31, and wanted to ask, should i buy Rx31, Or Rx31-d? The 'd' has been mentioned as the 'new' one, in a forum post on here, but was looking at the speed contrrollers (these are uni directional tho?) as this cound be handy for the future....

Re: Peter Wallers Robot Ramblings
Wow, thats looking good, Hi Peter, first reply to an actual post.
The board is looking really nice!
Have you got the bottom of the PCB board as the base chassis or is it sitting on 3D printed base/top?
I am looking forward to seeing how it comes out after.
Nat

BR3A speed controller from Hobbyking
Hi All, was wondering if any one had any use of this dc speed controller from hobbyking? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__11885___Hobbyking_3A_Single_Cell_ESC_Brushed_Micro_Motors.html Its 9g but mostly due to cabling (net weight 0.4g apparently). It does run from 1s lipo battery onlyv (3....

Re: Gear motor housing files for 3d printing at home
Yes, they do lack the grooves however you just heat the parts and slightly form the plastic around the motors :D sorted, using them on my ant atm, work wonders and costs 20p as opposed to 4pound :D Also means I'm not copying design but using initiative and properties of the materials. If there are i...

I always had the throught of writing my own picaxe / arduino code to control it and make it as small as possible. I am wo...

Designing bot to fit inside cube
Hi All. Been on here for while (2+ yr) Im building a mini version of my robot wars bot (Short Circuit series 6) and was wondering how you guys design them, parts layouts, to fit inside the size restrictions. I have built a mock of the bot using 3d printed chasis and card, but it seems small compared...
