Re: Rule 2b: Robot size limits
Let's be clear - antweights are built on two (and only two) basic premise. These are the 4" cube and the 150g weight. If you take either of these away, they are no longer antweights but something else instead. Aus, USA, and Brazil all have 150g antweights (fairyweights for the yanks  ) wi...

Re: Fights online
My antweight Kruger did a similar tactic in a meele. Spun up, bar came off the robot and hit the only other spinner in the arena, taking it's wheel off and disabling it's weapon at the same time.

So I've got a Baby-O on its way from the states :) Looks interesting, but I haven't programmed in C for about 10 years - still I'm sure it will soon come back! If you can setup the Arduino IDE to work with the Baby-O/ B328 (there is a guide on the pololu website) you will be able to use this code: ...

Re: Fingertech Speed Controllers
Reprogrammed brushless controllers? Witchcraft I say! Yes, reverse engineered/hacked and reprogrammed by the guru, Steven Martin Because their are 3 half bridges, you can actually blow these controllers up, reprogram it to use the spare half bridge and it will be a working controller again :) Don't...

<shameless plug> Or you could check out the ESCheap10 / ESCheap10 Premium Controllers from BotBitz (http://www.botbitz.com/). I personally run these in my antweights and have another builder running a pair of my ESCheap10 Premiums in a beetleweight (Squirrel Demoraliser) to drive BotBitz 1000RPM gea...

Re: Scorpion Mini
You can reprogram the Turnigy Plush10 to be a brushed ESC. If you get an AVR version, they have pads that you can solder an AVR programmer to and reprogram, if you end up with SiLabs based ones, you need a Silabs programmer. Steve Martin has pioneered the hacking of a bunch of Hobby King Brushless E...

Does anybody have access to a 3D CAD program that can export to .stp or .igs? I need to convert one of my drawings and none of my software supports these file types. Rhino3D and Solidworks 2007-2011 all handle these file formats natively, if your desperate, you could download a trail version of eit...
