OK, well I know there's some problems with the pictures I have hosted at brinkster, so I'm trying to find somewhere else to host them that allows external liking. This would be so much easier if I could just get my ntlworld webspace to work  I noticed that Team Beligerant are on NTL, did you ha...

Finally got my website up! The address is http://www.teamultimatum.tk The server is a little slow at times, but beggars can't be choosers. One more thing, most of the pictures and videos I have are from Simon Windisch and Oliver Steeples, if you have any objection to me having these on my site tell ...

Erm....you've got me there Simon, and I can't check it because currently there in my fleaweight. I'll open them up after January 3rd and work it out for you. To give you a rough idea, watch the videos of the FW smash in Redditch. I was using those servos then, with 32mm diamater wheels, so that shou...

Good idea Ian, I know HTML so I'll whip up a quick webpage when I next have a spare 5 minutes, there is 2 pictures and a v. short video, all produced in 3DS max, which come to about 700kb, so if you could host it for me that'd be great.

I've added you onto my MSN, if you come online I'll send you the plans for speed modding the SD200's  as for the picos, they cost ?17.50 from SMC, but I get them from a local model shop for ?15. As for the torque, I'm afraid I don't know, and I cant test it because my Picos had the gears stri...

I use speed modded Pico servos, very fast, and light to (about 6g I think), although of course once they've been speed modded you don't get too much torque out of them. Another option is to speed mod your SD200's (if you want to do this, I'll send you the diagrams of how I've done mine, 'cause the o...

Sounds scary Peter! Are you saying that it will be two seperate drums, each with their own motor, or just 2 halfs of a drum joined and powered at the center?

If it's as well engineered as your other ants Peter, it'll definatly one to be scared of. I know im a relative newcomer, but I understand that one of the things that has discouraged people from making walkers in the past is there slow speed, but as we saw from Chimera at AWS12, this dosn't have to b...
