Re: Team Coolspeedbot's robot builds

Re: Team Coolspeedbot's robot builds

After a little bit of thinking, I decided for the fun, the challenge and the nostalgia I opted to do the build for the new ant from scratch with no 3D printed parts, no CAD. Just some polycarb sheets, ruler, scissors, a drill and a bit of trial and error. The new ant is called Blue Terror, named aft...

Re: Team Coolspeedbot's robot builds

Well, it really has been a long time, once again busy with work and Featherweights again but I still want to be active with ants and I've been slowly working on a 3rd ant. Yes, that's right a 3rd ant. This is an idea I've loosely had before and older concepts have been posted on here too. So the new...

Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019

As I already said over on Facebook, it shouldn't be an issue. Just depends if my stepdad will be bothered about having to drive me to two events on two weekends in a row.

Re: Team Coolspeedbot's robot builds

Dusted off Killer-Wolf 2.0 to work on fixing the wiring by replacing the power switch. It was the power switch from KW 1.5 and wear has gotten to it as the connection breaks when the wires are touched. Easier to simply use a new switch with better wires. https://66.media.tumblr.com/b04330c1f5a413299...

Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019

Eep, well if possible 5th of October, that way it wouldn't clash with Extreme Robots Maidstone on the 19th-20th and gives some of us that would be planning to go to this event and XR don't have to rush getting bots sorted for each.

Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019

well I know Extreme Robots has an event on the 9th and 10th of November so that puts that weekend out contention.
