hello, one of the mkbfc admins here. where in north London will the competition be based? we have an arena available for use and i am also happy to show yourself and your colleagues what you would need to build your own combat robot's. i also have a decent amount of bots i can bring along for demons...

the arena floor is approximately 95x80 from wall to wall (the small inner walls) or 7,600cm² if you prefer. and i want to fit into empty gaps between all antweight events from aws through to the bbb events. basically, if there is nothing on the calendar for a month or two, i want my event to slot in...

i can also second that those particular hinges hold up pretty well to combat... the bot shown has one hell of a flip (gave a few bots a flying lesson at our little tournament) and suffered no issues... although being brass they could possibly bend if it took a big whack from a spinner in the right s...

i do indeed... although i have also used the servo as one hinge and polycarb as the other hinge which means it has better support before adding some into the chassis

also, will your servo not rotate any further than it shows? it looks to be a fair bit less than 90° if your transmitter has the option, look for a setting called end points... most decent transmitters will allow you to go above 100 (mine goes to 120) which gives me more reach on my servo's another o...

for photo's i find it easiest to use an image hosting site (i use gyazo) then post the link. if you use the bbcode for images [ img]your image link here.jpg[/ img] but without the spaces between the brackets, and ensure your image link has an image extension at the end (example .jpg .img ect) then y...
