Re: Ant Battery

if you meant not sold any more, these are still being sold (but they're out of stock and quite pricey as of current) - https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nan ... -5pcs.html

Re: Oasis' Build Diary/Log/Journel Thingy

Thanks, appreciate it! I'm working on another ant right now, having gotten all this experience I think I could go with a more exciting design :D

Re: [Question] Good servo for gripper?

I'm really sorry, I'm not familiar with this kind of system 😅, do you have any examples of ants with one? Is running without this system obligatory or could I just run how it is with a cheaper servo? Would the recommended servo be able to grip without it resetting or heating from stalling too much? ...

Re: [Question] Good servo for gripper?

Thanks, will look into that servo! Do you have any examples of such a system in a grabber I could perhaps refer to? I'm not sure how well I could pull this off blind! In the case I end up designing such a system I might as well just keep with my current servo seeing as it works just fine in all othe...

Re: [Question] Good servo for gripper?

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately my robot is now actually complete and I'm not sure if designing a whole new system is going to be doable, is there any other viable solution I could try?

[Question] Good servo for gripper?

Hi, I purchased a KST DS215MG servo for my antweight gripper, but soon realised that there was a flaw in it, if it can't move to the position it needs to, it resets its position! What this means is after around 10 seconds of gripping it stops gripping entirely because its neutral position resets! I ...

Re: Oasis' Build Diary/Log/Journel Thingy

So I got home, and started working on a new CAD. This one smoothened out a lot of the problems that occured in the first design, having a new top plate mount for my servo, wider front wej, space for on switch, more screw holes, armour on the back and a bit more space inside it! This time I actually ...

Oasis' Build Diary/Log/Journel Thingy

Aight I meant to write this all up ages ago and now I'm on the second revision of my bot, Insomnia, so I'm just gonna take it from here. The first revision of the design wasn't very finissed in many ways, and the bot ended up being botched the night before, but it at least drove on the day! https://...
