Antweight ESCs

I have recently been designing a new 2WD antweight flipper, mostly salvaging parts from my broken old one. However, since it's the ESC that died, I'll have to buy a new ESC for my new one. Since the NanoTwo isn't being sold at the moment, what are the best antweight ESCs available? The most promisin...

Re: Pre modded servo boards for escs?

Oops my mistake, I just misunderstood. However no damage was done and I have now set it to bind mode. Thank you so much for all your help! :D

Re: Pre modded servo boards for escs?

I'm using a Redcon 2204. With your advice (thank you!) , I have got power to it. However, for some reason it doesn't want to bind. I have tried it on 3 other identical receivers and the results are the same. I will put the pic here. https://gyazo.com/3c0ae925ba9bd2506544010ec92a5034.jpg Am I doing s...

Re: Pre modded servo boards for escs?

Is the signal pin the top, centre or bottom one? I don't really want to blow up any more receivers after a couple of early mistakes.

Re: Pre modded servo boards for escs?

Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question but where do you put the battery connector? I assume I connect it to the rx when using servo boards but I am unsure about where.

3D Printer recommendations?

Please could anyone recommend a good 3D printer for someone who wants to start printing antweights? Ideally it should be as cheap as possible and not be too difficult to set up. The Creality Ender 3 looks like it could suit my needs. Is this a good printer, and is it able to print well with ABS? Wou...

Re: Antweight World Series 58 - 29th June 2019

Does anyone want to cluster a flea as part of an ant cluster? One of the robots inside my cluster has a broken ESC and so I was wondering if anyone wanted to drive one of theirs with it. If nobody wants to I will just run the flea by itself (with ballast) :D .

Re: Flea won't self-right

Thank you for your responses I haven't been able to try them today as I have not had a lot of time, and when I tried to modify the robot I broke a part of the hinge. It's now fixed and I should be able to try to fix the self-righting it tomorrow. Because of how it is built (not that well!) its wheel...
