Re: Team S-R build's

Hi I have parity much finished the spinner (called Time-Tooth) I have been working on. Due to a mis-CAD-culation The wheels i had on the bot what to small for it to run inverted. So i had to make a new set. I machine them out of 6 mm polycarbonate. https://i.ibb.co/BG7sj1H/IMG-20210508-185102.jpg ht...

Re: Team S-R build's

Thanks! It is a live support and yes there are 2 small flanged bearings in the polycarbonare side support. I hope The pictures make it a bit clearer. The nearside bearing has been removed in one of the pictures. https://i.ibb.co/XFHFwb9/Spin1.png https://i.ibb.co/nQvyrYK/Spin2.png I was pleased with...

Re: Team S-R build's

Hi I thought I would share what I have been up to. Pretty much finished my first spinner. I had initially intended it to be a walker but changed the designing back to wheels. Hats off to those of you that build and compete walkers. I was not able to get the drive working in a way I was happy with. H...

Re: AWS 61 - Wolverton, Milton Keynes - 15th March 2020

Hi Ben (loftyD) Unfortunately me and my son (Team S-R) will not be able to make it on Sunday. I don't like backing out at such short notice so I feel obliged to make sure the organizers are not out of pocket because of my bad planning. At events there is a donations pot but is there a way I can send...

Re: AWS 60 - Headington, Oxford - 30th Nov 2019

Me and my son Thomas had a brilliant time on the weekend! Thanks again to all involved in the running of the day. This might just be me being a bit dim but is there somewhere that has the results for the day? I would be interested to see how Thomas did at his 1st event. He was knocked out after pinn...

Re: Team S-R build's

yes I suppose it will take a bit more time. I have got six of the 1s lipos. They are out of a drone I had years ago. The charger that came with the drone has room for 4 batteries to plug in and be on charge. When I need to swap the batteries I unscrew the 4 screws holding the top plate down, unplug ...
