Thanks so much for organising and running this event, we had an amazing time. Yin and Yang are the first robots I have designed and built myself and we we thrilled to get as far as we did (albeit with a little bit of luck in some fights). Can't wait to work on them some more for the next event! :)

Thanks so much for organising such a great event, it all ran very smoothly and I had a fantastic time at my first AWS!
Came home with so much inspiration for my next ants, so thanks everyone for sharing and being so willing to show me inside their robots.
Mostly need to practice my driving now before the next one :D

Thanks for a great event, very well done to all concerned. The venue was very good, plenty of space and parking.
If I could suggest one thing for next time it would be to use a single board for the arena floor so that join down the middle wouldn’t be a problem, otherwise the arena was fine.
Thanks again.

@limpet - We're already working on it! Rest assured that went on my Ugly list very, very early.

Am I on your ugly list, Chris?

Individuals don't end up on my lists, ever. We are all human, sometimes people make mistakes. When people make mistakes, the mistake (not the person) goes on the list to serve as a note to self to assess whether there is anything I can do to stop the mistake being made in the future.

What do you think you did that deserves being there?! I can't think of anything!

I did wonder - sarcasm/comic timing/et al don't always convey well through the internet (and especially so to me - bad habits die hard)!

AWS results are all up on AntLog. It all looks OK so it seems the fixes for the problems from last time have worked :)

How hard is it to increase the limit for number of possible ants in AntLog? I feel we may tip over the current 128 entry limit at some point and I think we can find other ways to accommodate all entries.

Dave - Gary and I are already discussing this. With the current way Antlog does things it is not trivial - although I would like to make it handle an arbitrary number of Ants in an arbitrary set of formats. That is the "next big thing" on my hitlist for Antlog now we have a way to get the fights out of it in a way that the Now/Next screens can cope with :)

Congrats, Shakey! That's the most deserved AWS win I've seen in years. So impressive. Honorable mentions for Valkyrie, Manta Ray and Yin and Yang for their high placings too.
Thanks!
